well after hearing two bangs on motorway in footwell i came off to inspect and both lower bolts had sheared off and somehow managed to contract and jump over front driveshaft after hitting a speedbump after exit whilst findinding a safe place to stop.managed to remove shock and continue slowly home without it,anyhow after reading other threads on shocks it seems most are from the states so i didnt have that much time so i gave local ford dealer in slough a ring and got 2 on order for monday or tuesday if interested the part no.is f4 620063 which is the unit only with no bolts i also ordered 4 hex nuts for bottom part number f4651106 the lot came to £138 .07 inclusive considering £25 was for the nuts.i got a quote for the rear and was looking at £290 for ford replacements which i didnt need
