I have 2002 Ford Explorer XLS with what I believe is a dealer installed remote start. The remote start does not work when button is pressed the horn beeps twice and the flashers flash twice but no start. Also now every time I press the door lock or unlock the horn sounds on the first press of the button instead of the second press of the buttorn. I noticed that when driving the small red l.e.d that i believe is part of the system flashes twice then a pause while driving. I am fairly handy and have read a few threads on the PATs system but I am a little confused on how it is relating to my issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
