Hello, I just bought a '00 Eddie Bauer AWD V8 with 58K miles, my '91 Sable had given me all it could. I was looking in dealership inventories but I bought the Explorer from a private owner, I thought it was a pretty good deal. I took it to the local Ford dealer for a once over, they said I'm going to need ball joints soon (I can live with that). I use it exclusively on the road, commuting to the train station and around town, but I hope someday soon to pull a small fishing boat with it. I have just one question for now, and I'm sure you've all heard it before, is there anything I can do to improve the stiff (harsh) ride while keeping it safe? Thanks...
