New Headlights for a '91

The lenses on my headlights are all discolored and fogged up.

Is there an aftermarket, brighter light available?

How do you replace the lights?

Pop the hood, pull the clips out above the grille, remove the grille, unscrew the 2 screws above the corner assembly on each side, pull the corners off, unbolt the 4 bolts on the black plastic around the headlight. Install is reverse. Pretty easy.

My lights came in today. They look great, nice and clear.

Do you have a bulb suggestion? I do some desert driving and would light to get max visibility out there but not draw attention (police) when in the city.

Is there a max wattage bulb that the lights/harness/fuse can handle or can anything be put in there?

Sylvania Silverstars. No better halogens than those. I don't think an upgraded harness would do much in added light output, but here's one if interested: http://www.suvlights.com/wire-harness.htm
