i just bout this truck as a daily driver as i have my mustang which is my toy. this truck looks good, is all there an has one dent, figured it was an easy fix but not so sure anymore. if you start it up, it idles kinda high (about 2500rpm) an theres a knock/ loud tappin noise, kinda sounds hollow an it goes with rpm, doesnt get louder it actually seems to slightly get lighter when you give it slight gas. i thought maybe it was somethin stupid like a idler but im in need of help here guys. also, its leakin oil on the cat, i havent drivin it around beside my driveway but its parked till i fix it. is all this common things? im gonna check the idler tomorrow an take a short clip of it running tomorrow but since im new i cant post it. any help would be great guys..i really need this truck to be runnin an my daily driver. thanks in advance!
after hearing it again today, it sounds like its comin from the top/back of the engine. its more of a loud tap...kinda of hollow. help me out guys, i really need it
