Hey maybe we are going about this all wrong. When 4wd Lo is engaged. it is in 4 wheel drive not auto 4 lo. why couldn't we interup the solonoid that shifts the gearing in the T/C to lo range.
just like the 97 + with the auto 4wd,4x4hi and 4x4lo and interupting the brown wire. why not the 4 lo fo the 95-96 with 2wd auto & 4 lo. Think about it.
