- 2000 Explorer Limited
So I just bought a 2000 Explorer Limited. I wasn't really looking to buy an Explorer but it seems fate led me to one so here I am. I have been looking for a new car for 3-4 months with no real luck all over the state of FL. One day on my drive home from work I saw a really clean spruce green limited with a for sale sign less than a mile from my house. I stopped to look and the owner just happened to be outside. The truck only had 57k on the odometer and the owner had purchased it from the dealer in town when it was new. It had been garaged it's whole life and looked really nice. He was asking a VERY fair price so I brought it to the dealer, had them look over it, got a full service history and bought it the next day for $5,000.

So far, I love it. It has a few problems that need to be addressed: blank radio display, pulsating hum sound from the front (thinking bearing/hub assy). I found great info on both of these issues here and I look forward to fixing the problems myself.
