Hello, first time ever posting on any form so please excuse if this turns in to novel. I recent bought a 2005 explorer from a gentleman at work for $200. Engine had 320k with the timing chain ready to give out any day. But the transmission is brand new. I also bought same color 03 explorer from copart with 151k milage. Basically I'm going to make one good explorer. Im Going to use the doors and body panels from the 05 to fix the copart explorer. So far I've swapped all the doors and fenders pulled out as much damage with a high lift jack and with the tractor. Cut out old rocker panneland I've welded in rocker panel from the other car. So far it's been pretty pain less. I plan to sell off or scrap everything else. I have 2" strut spacers coming next week. And I may do the 1.5" body lift as well. Any questions, tips, or advice would be awesome.
