Welcome to this forum! Which kit did you install for the automatic door pops?

Well the brain and solenoids were from a company called Protocol, it came with 2 remotes, 2 50lb door solenoids, and the brain. It was around 150 bucks and was very easy to install, I'd recommend it to anybody:thumbsup:

ooo yea I absolutely love rangers. Originally my dad told me about an 86 ford ranger for sale, for 400 bucks, and we ended up buying it, and so it became my first vehicle, the 86 4x4 in the pics, after about 2 yrs, i bought my friends 92 ford ranger, with a 2.9l and fried A4Ld tranny, i was going to swap the tranny, since the engine ran perfect, but ended up selling it due to lack of $$$. Fast forward a couple of months, and my dad was browsing Craigslist, and pointed out a 97 ford ranger, 2wd lowered, 2.3. Well of course i called him up and went to look at it. It was rough....rough looking, and rough running. I bought it for 500 bucks, he was askin 1000. I solved the rough idle issue with a new intake tube, since air was getting past the MAF, and got it aligned and a couple other odds and ends, its my daily driver now, I love it :). Now fast forward to about 3 weeks ago....I again was looking on Craigslist, and spotted an 84 ford ranger, with a 302 and 5-speed. Of course history repeats its self, i bought it for 900 bucks, and man, what a clean first gen, no rust no dents. I still own the 86, the 97, and the 84. I know for a fact I'm only getting started, lol ive owned 4 trucks already, and im not even graduated yet lol.

Yea, that was the last day of Junior year, some of the "guyz" showed up and we fooled around in the parking lot, one friend tried doing a doughnut in a van backward, and slammed into the ONLY light pole in the whole parking lot lol funny times....funny times... that was also when i still had the lift and 31s on the 86...but the 2.9l still would roast em :)
