New member getting ready for some future mods: help

2004 Ford explorer
Okay so just bought me a 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4 4.0 my keyless entry does not work have no idea how to fix that battery in the remote is good but the big question is I have 31 inch tires with 15 inch rims will they fit on the Exploreor ??

without shaving the brake caliper a 15 inch wheel will not fit. as for the remote I'm unsure. I like the yellow on that torino.

I believe that there is a thread where someone is converting to v8 and I even believe someone with a second gen is converting to diesel. and as for the ranchero, that even better, i like those a lot more.
 






The crappiest thing about this issue that you'll have to deal with, is that Jeep in the back ground. It's simply going to get in the way of everything. :)

Go with procedure A. I had to do it a couple of times (the whole off to run 8x) before I got it right. So if it doesn't work the first time, start over.

In the second pic, you can see the module that has the code printed on a sticker on its side that is facing the interior. You won't see the code from the angle of the pic. Look down over the trim to see it.
Once you have the code, Google the instructions for programming your own, or just memorize the default one.

Wasn't sure which keyless entry you were talking about. Pretty sure it was the first one though.

yeah I was talking about the key fob I programmed it will work perfectly thank you
