new member needs help rat ate a wire need help

hello all im joe cromer and I own a 2001 sport trac it sat up for several years and some rats chewed some wires the only one I cant find is a plug that sits on passanger side of motor right by intakehighest plug on engine. the wire is in same harness that goes to injectors but this wire goes under intake front running back but I cant find where please help!

Do you have a pic of the wire? I have all the wire diagrams for a 01 Sport Trac so I could tell you what it's for most likely.

that's the one! ok he wire was chewed in half about 10 inches down under intake and I cant find oher end. where can I run new wire from that plug to where? im a car audio installer and have been for 22 years so running and terminating is no problem but locateing where to run it to is!

Well the knock sensor is located under the intake like near the center of the valley. It may be easier to pull the intake, it's not really that hard. Here is a thread might help you to get access to it. You don't need to do all of the steps it shows, basically you just need to remove a few brackets, and some vacuum lines attached to the intake, but you can see where the knock sensor is located.
