2004 Ford Explorer
I've found myslef on this website a lot recently so I though I'd join for the advice! I'm an 18 year old who is just starting his first build. I own a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT that was given to me by my dad but let me assure you this build is not funded by them at all!

Some details on my explorer,
4.6L v8
Red with gray accents
Leather seats
3rd row
Sunroof
17" wheels

Basically it's completely stock but you've got to start somewhere right?

Some things I hope to do are,
-3 inches of lift (not sure what kind of lift to get)
-Roof rack w/ the ability to hold the spare tire, and other stuff
-Extra lighting? (Light bar or KC style)
-Billet grille (main and lower insert)
-Brush guard
-Possibly new wheels in the future but for now I'm happy with the stock 17s I plan on dipping them black along with all the badging

If you all have anything that you think would be good let me know I'm open to suggestions!

I would save my money and go right for LEDs instead of the KCs. So much brighter and a better quality of light.

A body lift is the most common lift for the 3rd gen Explorer, although there are spacers available to lift the suspension some. Be sure to check our Modified 2002-2005 subforum.
