I just purchase a 2003 Explorer 4 door 4.0 4x4 XLT over the weekend to replace my 93 Explorer. I am really liking the newer style better than my old one. I've done some searching around the site, and thought I had better introduce myself today 
I've got a shudder when it shifts to overdrive on hills. I'm not happy with that part of my Ex, it only has 46,500 miles. I don't have a warranty, but am mechanically talented enough to work on my own vehicles. I didn't think it would be this soon! 
Other than that, I love the truck!
