New member, with a tire question on a 2004 Explorer

Hello all,
I am new to this as I found you on Google. I live in NC and have been married for 2 years.

We have a 2004 Ford Explorer and I am wanting to ER bigger tire with out getting bigger rim or a lift kit at this time due to money

What is the biggest size tire I can put on the 2004 Ford Explorer on the stick rims?

I have tried looking for it but some places say 265/70/r16. Others say 275/70/r16

Any help??? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
