Found this site whlle looking for some info on my 02 explorer.I'm looking for help in solving the problem of the heater actuator door.My mechanic told me it would be about $1200.00 to fix.

Blend door actuator

Just finished replacing the blend door actuator on my 02 Explorer.Took me a couple of hours to take out and replace it.My mechanic said it would be around $1200.00 to fix my heating problem.It cost $84.00 for the part and a couple of hours of my time.Go figure.
Now I have a problem with my power windows.Just stopped working one day.Can't find any fuses that operate the windows.Any suggestion?

Check the ground wiring connected to the switches. Sometimes the wiring between the door, and the frame develops cracks over time.
