Have owned my 2004 Eddie Bauer since it had 5k miles. 90k now. Runs GREAT. 14mpg in town is a bummer. 
Going to start doing more maintenance myself. Used to do it years ago. Tired of paying dealer major $$$.
Tipping point was looking at some old bills closely to get part #s , and seeing a tranny flush/fill/filter that only used 1.7 quarts of fluid. What???
Going to be doing Oil flush/change, Tranny flush/change, Diff changes, transfer fluid, PS fluid, brake fluid, etc., this fall.
Changing all to synthetic. Probably AMSOIL.
Been looking at this site for tips, and decided to join.
