New project, its a solid idea!

I have been looking high and low for a solid axle. Ever since I went to KOH this year. I love my TTB but I just dont have the money to do what I want to do to the axle. I unfortunately can not pull it until tomorrow. The guy I spoke with at the pick n pull said the truck has been there for about 6 months. I am praying its there when I go back tomorrow morning.

Nice find. I'd check the gear ratio too. With what looks like lift springs, you might have some after market gears in there.

That would be a plus. Its going to be a slow rebuild, but that would definitely help. The truck did have a full lift kit on it with lift springs in the rear. Looked like a decent pick up at one time.

Wow.... what a day. I was able to pull the axle. I decided to check it out for any signs of major damage, prior to taking it to my truck. Im glad I did cause this is what I found.

So needless to say, I did not buy the axle. The search continues!
