New rims and tires for my Dad's '00 Ranger

"Im not really all that mad about any of it. But, I think I'm going to try something, every time someone shows a lifted ex with off road tires, im going to say that it looks ugly. I know people like different things, thats fine, I just dont see why going out of your way to bash another persons choice of aftermarket parts is necessary. As far as the stereotypes... That is also not really necessary. On a side note, I HATE country music. "

From the 26"s thread.

Thats what I'm trying to say... Thats even why I said, "Nothing personal here, just doing what I said I would do." Ill find the post and copy it on here. I like the last part, I've said that many times myself.

Oh, thanks for the spell check. :D

Even though you said "Nothing personal" doesn't mean people aren't going to take offense. I understand that you were doing it because other people have done it to you. But continuing this cycle gets you no where. Personally it did piss me off but I held off on posting as soon as I saw it because I have a tendency to say things I don't inititially mean. All I'm saying is nobody likes the "they made me mad so I'll make them mad" guy.

You do know that the truck is not an Explorer but a Ranger. So why did you even say anything. I know it's a technicality. This is the crap high school kids do. I don't know about you but I am well beyond my high school years and find this stuff very, very tiring. I am stepping off of my soap box now.

Personally I love the way the Ranger looks now. I actually looks like it has some, for lack of a better word, balls. Now he just needs to lift it a little.

personally its not my style to go with flashy rims. With that said i think that this ranger is very practically done. you wanted a rim with a little more flash and to look a little better looking than the stocks so you went with a nice simple rim. nothing crazy and elaborate, and you didn't go to some huge "dubs." its not my personal favorite but i respect what you did here. it looks good

Im really not going to post pictures for the 3000th time. Im just saying what people on here say about explorers with rims bigger than 20"s... The always "assume" the person driving it is "ghetto trash". That the truck looks stupid, it's so bad on your truck... (Like that isnt obvious...) So, a few threads back I said from now on I would go out of my way to say any off road type tire, was "stupid"...

It's not big rims that look stupid to me, it's the tires with the 1" sidewall that you have to use to fit them on your vehicle... I can't stand low profile tires on trucks/SUV's.... But that's just my opinion.....
