I am new to the forum, having experienced a rather aggravating, reoccurring problem with my electrical wiring.
First thing that happened, my electric dashboard went completely black. No speed, no tach, no turn signal, no radio, nothing.
Drove it immediately to the dealership, after about 20 minutes of diag. they determined the instrument cluster was bad and I needed a new one. Four days later it came in and was installed. On the way home I got a warning on the cluster saying "Transmission not in park" while I was driving about 10 mph. Multiple trips back to the dealer over the next 10 days only to experience the say failure after each supposed fix, network communication errors. Final fix that has stopped the problem was a loose connection inside the passenger side kick panel. Last week the MAP sensor went bad and had to replaced.
I have a request into Ford Corporate to replace this car under the Buyback Program but so far nothing buy lip service and delays.
Any insights or observations from the forum would be appreciated.
