Uhhh... howdy. I just bought a '94 Explorer Sport with a whole buttload of options. 5-speed, 4WD, sunroof... you name it. I guess I'm looking for all the help I can get to modify and maintain this new truck (I was always Pro-Chevy, but I got a helluva deal on this truck). I guess I'm here to listen, and learn. I don't like a lot of BS, so what I post will be true.
So... what do I do now?

welcome to the best Explorer site on the net! I've always said I'm brand loyal until something better comes along so don't feel bad about going chevy to ford :). So how ould you like to modify it? Lift it? Lower it? make it go faster? Make it look cooler? A good utility you'll find is the search function, I use it practically on a daily basis to go back and look at old posts...
Once again, welcome to the site!

I've had a bunch of low, fast cars and trucks, so I'm looking to get out of that genre. My brother has a rock crawling Jeep (is that a bad word here?) and I'm looking to put this in the air for a little sibling rivalry. But, I can't spend all my money on this, so I came here to get good advice and DIY info for a 4x4 (this is my first). So, all the mud gurus out there, HELP ME, PLEASE!!

well first off, Jeep isn't a bad word, but pronounce it J**P. :). For info on lift kits and so forth you may want to check out the forum "shocks, suspensions, and lift kits", there are lots of threads from people who were in the same place your at, and reading through previous messages will give you a good idea of what you can do with it.

Welcome!

Welcome to the site ex voto!

Like Matt said, check out the Shocks, Suspension, and Lift Kits Forum, but also check out the Before and After Forum as well. Theis will give you some ideas and inspiration. Also check out the Featured Trucks, as well as the Reader Submissions on the Main Page of the site to get some more ideas! Hope this helps. Welcome to the site and happy posting buddy!

Wow. What a buncha nice guys. Maybe I will like Explorers after all...
