Thanks for the compliments....its an 89 GT with a 5.0L HO V8, K&N intake, and 40 series Flowmasters. My winter/spring plans:

-new racing tranny
-new paint
-lowering springs
-wheels & tires
-3.73 gears w rebuilt traction lock

next winter:

-347 stroker!

Hopefully everything will work out.

Yeah Ive always wanted a Fox Body Mustang so I jumped on this one. I'm not a big automatic fan either but everyone I have talked to said it was the best way to go for drag racing...

that is tru or the direct line straight down is the other best way for drags.. even the fastest street cars are not the normal shift

For the exhaust, I suggest going with a Borla Stinger setup. I've got it on my Mach 1, and it sounds AWESOME!!!!

I just picked one up a couple weeks ago. Sadly I too had to take an auto. Having owned both an Auto 5.0 and a 5 speed 5.0. I have to say that the auto's suck!!!!!!!

But it can be fixed with a well built tranny low gears and a good hi-stall torque converter
