So im gonna break down and replace my valve cover gaskets, tired of smelling oil burning off of the manifolds. My valve covers are rusty to say the least, friend at a salvage yard gave me a 'used' set but they are all banged up from where the motor was pulled. Anyone know where I can get 'new' valve covers for a 4.0 OHV? Any help is appreciated.

thanks in advance,

Jack

Fastpartsnetwork has em for 50$leftbank and 85$rightbank

Not cost effective really.

yeah i checked fastparts and rockauto, might try calling a dealer just to see how outrageous they are. mine are rusted and i hate to throw them back on there, cant really afford the down time though. thanks for the responses

Check www.car-part.com or a the used parts vender here.. (i'm drawing a blank on his name)...

EDIT: The two used parts vendors are Ped5Stang and Kbabiak

Used is normally $25ish each from a yard.. or $25 for the pair from an individual (thats what I sold the last 2 sets for...)..
