[NEWB] Am I missing something?

Hi all, I'm a new exlorer owner as of today. Is there a piece missing from my console, or is there just hole there for no apparent reason?

Also, where can I buy weatherstrip for the doors, aside from Ford? I have a small leak that I want to take care of before it gets out of hand.

The vertical slot is a tissue dispenser. Lift the arm rest and you can pull it out and refill it.

There is a thread on here somwhere that says where you can by the refills. I nevr bothered with mine.

For the weather stripping, try any regular auto parts store (Autozone, Checkers, Advanced...) They should carry something of the sort. A lot of guys get the small Uniden CB radio and put that in the place of the kleenex holder. If mine was small enough that's where I would put it.

BTW, when I used to own a Gen 2 Exploder that tissue box holder made a great place to keep my "personal protection equipment".

On my mom's Expedition there is a holder inside the console lid. You just slip one of those flat-box style Kleenex boxes in that you get at Wal-Mart and you're set. Great for flu season.

Last year I got out there a good bit. This year I have been busy with a few builds as well as planning and soon starting the turbo on the LS. Hopefully next year I will be able to take the vehicles up there and make some good runs.
