Newbie needs help getting forum info

Hi everyone! I just joined today, so I need help understanding how the forum works. 1. What is a sticky? 2. How do I get to a sticky? 3. How to get the step by step instructions I keep reading about? I've been searching this forum for hours, and I think I found what I'm looking for. But I don't know what a sticky is, or how to get to some instructions (VBR manual). Any help is appreciated. Thx.

Stickies are at the top of each forum.

Some of the forums are for Elite member only. That may be why you can't access the VBR manual.
