Well let me start off I've been searching the forums for problem I'm having, i just cant find an answer.
My wifes 2000 4.0l sohc stalled on her today while she was going to work. She said that she was pulling into the parking lot and the explorer started shaking, then right when she pulled in to the parking stall it shutoff. She went into work and then a couple minutes later she came out to try to crank it up and it would start, idle like crap, and then die.
I looked at the inertia switch and it has some play on the red button but i dont know if its tripped or not. I tired pulling some codes on it and didnt have any. Also a months ago when it was cold she had a tough time starting the explorer and her dad had replaced the IAC and it worked fine after that.
Any inputs would greatly be appreciated
