Newer Explorer rims on an older Explorer?

Yes from what I remember reading before, it is a Ranger air dam from something like a 1993 body style (not sure of years). I also remember that there where some slight modifications to make it fit but I can’t find the post right now.

OOPS..meant to type Ranger...

yeah.. thats the stock ford airdam used on rangers from 93-97.. You find it mostly on the 4X models but it was available on XLT rangers as well..

If you live where there is a Certi-Fit I got mine from there for $15.. You can go to their website to find a location near you http://www.certifit.com/

Here is a picture of my ranger with that valence.. Still needing to get the foglights for it.. The stock foglights are the same ones that they put in the 87-93 Mustang GT's...

I dont really want to start a new post on this so I'll resurect this one. Is it possible to fit 3rd gen chrome 5 spoke with out the center cap rims on a first gen with 4x4 manual hubs? I've looked at the rims on 3rd gens around and Im not sure the hub will fit where the ford logo is. Does anyone know if they can bore out the center with out making the rim too weak? or getting to close to the lug nuts?

Thanks for the reply I saw that but those rims are different from the ones I was talking about here are the specific ones I was talking about.

Have2goski, has 3rd gen Explorer Rims on his 1st gen, and IMO it looks KILLER!

here are a few pics, in the secodn you cna see how he cut the front center cap to let teh hub stick out, but it still looks clean and nice.....
That looks really clean I have a 2003 explorer and was wondering if the 2012 Explorer rims would fit.
