NewGuy 98 5.0 xlt

I have a 98 5.0 xlt AWD with 248k this is my 3rd explorer the other two I had were a 97 4.0 ohv sport and my first was a 2000 xlt 4.0 sohc. So you can say I like my explorer!

welcome i had a 97 4.0 a while ago we kept it around until 170k something. only reason we let it go was the rust was getting bad.

Mine weren't bad on rust the 97 ohv 4.0 got with 257k and drove it till 335k got rid of it but kicking myself in the ass for selling it. It had its issues but it ran awesome just had to baby it because of the trans slipped if you got down hard on it but drove it for 2 years like that. Great truck wife hated it. Lol
