Hello

I have a 2010 Sport Trac 4.0L, RWD. The explorer started and drove fine in the beginning of the day, but towards the night, I got in the Explorer, and tried to start it, no crank and no electrical power to anything except my left tail light. I also noticed that the red battery cable was hot when I disconnected the battery.

Does anybody have an idea what could be causing this problem???

Thank You.

The hot cable indicates current draw (high), you have a short somewhere.
Check aftermarket things first (things that didn't come installed from factory).
Then check the high power stuff - starter, alternator fusebox feeds...

Check moisture or rain water on SJB connectors or inside the box itself.check voltage on the related SJB fuses
