So my explorer does this weird thing, the blend door is stuck on hot air (which is fine since I live in canada) and the air only has 1 speed, max. guess this is just a blown fuse?

But the air works fine for about an hour, after that, it makes lots of noise like usual but there is no more air coming out, just whatever comes through for how fast I'm going.

Any Ideas?

well the speed thing means you blew a resistor and no fan means you then are starting to lose the relay which sends full power to the fan

If it was a blown fuse there would be no speed at all. The problem is the blower motor resistor. It is a small electrical piece with 3 coils that drop the speed of your fan. The terminals get wet and rusty and don't make contact, if you like to fiddle around you can refurbish them by filing the rust or you can get one for $20. It could also be the harness or both but it is definitely this area. If you find the coils isn't rusty but the harness is , you can just cut the harness and solder the wires to the terminals

Does he have the standard system or the EATC?
