Hello,
I have a 2008 Explorer Eddie Bauer A4x4 4.0 with 126,000 on the odo.
I am going to replace my fuel injectors so I will be replacing the intake manifold gaskets and maybe the intake manifold.
I was looking at the Doorman intake manifold for sale on Rock Auto. That manifold has a spot for the IAC. My X does not appear to have an IAC on the top of the intake manifold adjacent to the throttle body. If I don't have an intake manifold now, I'm guessing the Doorman unit on Rock Auto isn't the correct manifold.
The Doorman product part number is 615296 - has a spot for the IAC on top of the intake manifold near the throttle body.
The PartsGeek intake manifold by Doorman Part# 29005-05432699. Since this unit looks exactly like mine. I'm assuming this is the correct manifold
I cannot find the IAC on my truck anywhere.
Should I replace the EGR while I'm in there.
Can you give me any insight on where my IAC may be located, if there is one at all.
Many thanks
