Hey guys. I just got off the phone with my Dad. He bought a 93 or 94 Explorer to take out to his hunting lease, and he said he had to move it last night and none of the lights worked. He first noticed the dome light didn't come on when he opened the door but didn't think much of it. Then he tried to turn on the headlights. He said there are no headlights, park lights, tail lights, dash lights or interior lights. My first thought was the headlight switch isn't getting power. Is there a fusible link that powers the headlight switch somewhere? Anyone have any idea what may be wrong? Thanks.

if he doesnt usually drive it, is it possible the battery is dead? those circuits are usually different....

if that is not the problem then i would into fuses and possibly the headlight switch...

94 - Fuse #2 40Amp underhood, main power for headlamp and interior lights
93 - same as above

The battery isn't dead because he cranked it up and moved it into the barn. I'll tell him to check fuse #2. Thanks guys.
