no low range

hey guys i got a problem with my 4 wheel drive. it wont lock into low range. i just recently put a new transmission in it before that it worked fine. 4x4 still works just not low range.

Most likely you netural saftey switch isn't giving the siginal right to the 4x4 cpu.... You HAVE to be pretty much sitting still AND have the tranny in netural to go into 4x4 low. High you can do on the fly and doesn't care.

Would make sense seeing you have a new tranny...

i hope thats all it is but ill check when i pull the tranny back out. i think i blew the torque converter last weekend.
