Hi! New to the forums and a new explorer owner.
2002 Explorer XLS
The radio does not work and neither does the sun roof, but all of the power windows are fine. Not sure if those are related but I did do a bit of reading before hand to suspect that they may be connected.
We have checked all of the fuses under the drivers side as well as the hood. We also pulled the radio out to see if anything in the back looked suspicious but I don’t think anything was noticed.
Didn’t realize the sunroof didn’t work till later.
Could this be wiring? Could it be the fuse even though they looked okay?
I am wondering if connecting a new radio would make any kind of difference. Ultimately a question of “could it be just the radio itself that’s no good?”
One things of note:
-The previous owner had an interlock device on the vehicle at one point. I don’t know if that’s important, if that may have interfered somewhere. Throwing that info out just incase.
Thanks!
