it has 3.27 gears. i thought that was the problem but the guy workin on my tranny says no. 235 bfgs. im gonna do a compression test as soon as i get it back. could it be a head gasket?
thanks

problem~4.0

Solution~5.0

But really, go into more depth about the no balls problem.

I "Had" the same Problem :( !

Bad Tranny Modulator Valve (Vacuum leak), Bad O2 Sensors.

If you have over 100k miles its definately time to replace the O2 sensors. ($100 if DIY)

I fixed these things and can now tow a 3500lb boat plus the trailer up mountains.
Also try seafoam and resetting the ECM.

My 1994 Ex is now at 261k miles on original engine and tranny. (22+ MPG Hwy) ;)

Take care of your truck and it will take care of you. :)

A couple of things I might suggest:

1) Pull codes from the computer. Even if the CEL isn't coming on, there may be problems that the computer is seeing/has seen

2) Check fuel pressure to make sure fuel delivery is keeping up with engine demand.

what is it doing? Bogging down?doesn't go at all? What.

fuel pressure is great and ive cleared the comp. several times

it runs good smooth and everthing. dosent bog dosent miss, idles good.
its just if i try to pass someone it wont accelerate worth a damn.
i cant even spin the tires that well ON DIRT!

yea, thats not ypical. mine will spin a bit on dry pavement if i mash the pedal. and i can power brake the piss out of it if im messing with friends. (but tire's are expensive, so i try not to)

you have covered all your basic tune up stuff even. id be dong a compression check and making sure the engine itself is heathy

What was the power like before the tranny rebuild?

Is the tranny downshifting at WOT?

How are the fluid levels? (ATF and oil)

Good Luck! :salute:
