my reverse lights have all of a sudden stopped working. i dont have a clue...anyone have any suggestions or know where they are wired to? maybe a common place to look or something? its on a 2000 xlt. thanks!

Have you checked for 12 v power at the bulb(s)?

Have you checked the fuse?

Check and make sure that not only you are getting voltage at the harness, but the ground is good as well.

It may seem hard to believe but are you sure it just isn't bulbs out? You can't see behind you, and even though you might see that light when reversing at night it could have been one bulb was out, and then the other went later.

both stopped working at the same time, they flickered, then went out. bulbs are good, i tested them. i actually ended up just rewiring a new switch to them, so its all good. got the drivers side done, an it works great! lights seems to be a bit brighter than they were before, but that might just be me imagining it. new power and ground for each, just have to finish up the passenger side ground, and they will be good to go. thanks for the help guys!
