Hello,

I have a 94 Explorer and here is the scenario.....The vehicle runs GREAT. Then dies while driving, stopping, idling, anytime and won't start back up right away. (Anywhere from 5 min to hours. ) There is NO consistentcy to the problem. Happens after 5 min of driving or 5 hours of driving. I have had the fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel relay all changed. I have had it in a Ford shop and had all codes checked...No fault codes. Shop also reset all systmes and never once cound duplicate the problem. The shop did say the truck runs GREAT.......I looked at some previous entries and can't seem to find one that addresses this issue, all seem to go back to fuel pump. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can check or have checked now????

Would appreciate any help........

Maybe a short in the wire going to the fuel pump.

I found a similiar situation under the Tech Forum. States I should try the "crank shaft sensor." I will check both and let you know. Thanks alot.
