no start,,help

hi all,need help!!!
i have a1993 ranger 4lt mt that will not start
after i installed a new battery all u hear is a click sound from the starter
checked all wires for corrosion or looseness seems ok,
replaced starter, still the same click sound comming from stater

still sounds like the wiring to me,, run a set of booster cable from the battery to the starter see if you can get it to start than,, if so, it's the wiring from the battery,

just make sure it's in neutral,
