Well, the other afternoon I noticed that my turn signals had stopped working, tried the hazards, nothing.

Checked all the fuses in the passenger compartment (both of the ones that matter, anyway), and all the fuses in the engine compartment, all tested ok.

No brainer I though, MFS. Replaced it, problem remains.

Tried the flasher (whatever that clicky thing is) under the dash...the problem remains. I used a buss one for that, I'm not positive it's the right one, but it fits :) It was a Bussmann 727.

(EDIT) now that I look at the Bussmann site, they list the 727 is used in model years 98-99 and 03-05...hmmmm, anyone know if things changed THAT much in those years? I think they're missing something, myself.

So, I'm $70 into non-returnable parts without any improvements, any suggestions?

Bump...no guesses?

do you adjust your steeling wheel up and down like when you get in and out of your truck?

You mean when it went out? No.

When I was replacing the MFS, yes, I moved it a ton wiggling the top piece out.

I put it in "run", turned on the left signal, hit the hazards, and was moving it up and down, banging on the relay, pushing on fuses...nothing.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Has anyone ever tried using the Bussmann 727 part? I'm wondering if it's even right. I just wish I had a working one to swap, or a working truck to swap mine into.
