Greetings all:

I am sending this note in for general info. I saw a youtube vid called "Seafoam. I can't believe what it did to my engine". The guy in the vid Seafoams an old Ranger.

I am presenty driving an 05 ram 1500 with a 3.7L gas engine. The darn thing sounds like a diesel powered sewing machine. Listening to it is painful. Will I make it home this time? Just never know.

I bought a can of Seafoam aerosol spray this morning. Popped the intake plenum
(the external, plastic plenum behind the filter) off and emptied the can of Seafoam into the intake as per the label instructions. Waited 15 minutes. Fired it up. Had a little bit of smoke. Ran about 5 miles for a test run. Parked the truck and got out with the engine still running. People, I can not believe the difference. Other than the exhaust noise I can barely hear it running. LITERALLY!

I really did not expect ANY difference but figured for $12 I'd give it a shot. This bet paid off bigtime. Now I certainly can't promise it will solve your problem but it sure worked for me this time.

I would like to thank the person that posted the Youtube vid. You were right.
And I can hardly believe it myself.

Good luck everyone,
Marty
