hi ya'll. I wanted to show my gratitude for this site by signing up for the elite ex club! The $20 yearly fee was a pittance compared to the $$ saved on my transmission problem.
I've had my ex for 2 yrs. Never quite felt right during acceleration and problems got worse over the years I have travelled in work. I was quoted $400 - 800 to fix my fluid loss problem - or up to $2k to replace the thing. This site led me to question whether or not it was a simple modulator fix. $89 later I have the power I never had going uphill and the engine clatter is gone because I asked a trans shop to check the modulator.
Way to go people, for posting and for the answers that led me to here.
PS: icon guys, where's the white ex icon?
thanks,
nancy
