Number of timing chain tensioner spring leafs

My EX started sounding like there was bunch of marbles bouncing around in the engine. As I suspected the timing chain tensioner was broken in half and all the pieces fell down into the oil pan. I managed to get all the plastic pieces and 3 what I would call leaf springs for lack of a better term. My question is, are there more than 3 leaf springs?

The one that broke was put in under the recall notice back in 2000.

If you're referring to the primary (crankshaft to jackshaft) chain tensioner then yes there are only 3 leaf springs. The improved one (2002+) has 6.
