don't get into trouble...but it's an easy run and you get some altitude and a view if it's not cloudy...everybody will need to have gas when you show up to silverado canyon...you guys coming from the south, on a map it is east of the 241 and chapman....also, you can come up off el toro road...if you do, you can fuel up in el toro..

Ok kewl. I will ask for directions on saturday night or atleast a place to meet up so I don't get lost.

look on the maps for silverado canyon and santiago canyon, where they meet...241 to chapman, chapman turns into santiago canyon... el toro road turns into santiago canyon from the other end...silverado canyon is about the middle coming from either way...if you see black star canyon on the map, that is where they meet...

wait so what? where are we meeting exactly? i found the general area on google maps. it sounds like well be just east of limestone canyon regional park?

the corner of santiago canyon rd and silverado canyon...there is a road right ther for black star canyon and we can park and wait for everybody to show up...from there we go down silverado canyon to the end, then straight up the hills...

I was looking at the ariel photos and it looks like a lot of fun. I like to go exploring like that. I miss being able to do that with my truck. It has been down for way too long.

well, i ran up there this morning to do a pre-run and verify the gate was open, yea, that's it, lol... it is going to be hot and dusty so bring plenty of water for you and your truck, check all your fluids, lubes and such....the earlier we start, the better....i am praying for some marine layer up there as you are driving with the sun in your face most of the way...

i will try to make it sunday, but i might be at my builders house getting some things measured up for my LT kit. I also might have to make a run to valencia to pick up some deavers if my deal goes through.
