Yeah so I’ve been reading that the od light when flashing has something to do with the transmission. But it only flashes when I go on the highway. Anyone know what I can do/ what it can be?

It’s the transmissions check engine light. It has a stored code which will tell you what it thinks is wrong. If it only happens at highway speed it’s probably an issue with 4th gear/overdrive, but randomly guessing without the codes is just that, guessing.

I had that only on the highway business...in my case, my torque converter was shot—wasn’t locking up.

I appreciate everyone’s advice. I just added Lucas trans slip fix, and I haven’t had a problem since. I just don’t have the time or money to really do anything which sucks

95 sploder uses the 4r55e automatic
Flashing OD light = manufacture specific code in your computer memory
Dr Tranny shudder fix is amazing stuff

It’s a good temporary fix...but it’ll be back, I can promise you that.

Start working up plans for eventual repair or vehicle replacement.

I concur
Shudder fix is a band aid for a problem that just started to show itself

If there is one thing I have learned in 20 years of working on these trucks is they do NOT FIX THEMSELVES
