When I accelerate hard or on a long pull up a grade the air stops exiting the vents. Stops completely with no air, hot or cold. Lift off the gas pedal and the air comes out normally. I'm hard of hearing and cannot tell if the fan stops momentarily or if the vents are blocked in some way not allowing the air to exit.
This is with the air set to recycle the interior air and the fan on. Anybody have this problem in the past and figure out how to fix it ?

Thanks,
Mike

You have a vacuum leak somewhere in the HVAC system. Check lines and vacuum motors going to the blend doors and behind the control head. Not sure but there's probably a vacuum reserve tank somewhere in the system. Good luck.

+1 on a vacuum leak. and you'd be amazed at how small of a leak will cause this to happen.
