Odd Question?

This is kind of an odd question! Most people want to put the bucket seats in their Rangers! I want to put the split bench in an Explorer.. Will the split bench seat from an '03 Ranger fit in a 2000 Explorer? I have a Ranger that isn't running, and am thinking about getting the Explorer, but it has damaged seats!

some base model explorers (xl's) had a split bench in them. it should bolt in.

That's kind of my thinking too! I've never had the importunity to compare them side by side.. I wasn't sure if, maybe, the transmission hump might get in the way? Since people use the buckets in their Rangers all the time, I'm almost positive that the bolt holes will line up!
