I'm having a leaky oil problem. Seems to be going threw a quart a week. Can't seem to put my finger on where it's coming from. If your looking at the motor from the front the whole right side of motor is covered, fan clutch rad. It's always leaving nice puddles all over. New pan, timing, vavle covers and head gaskets where all put on about 3 years ago.

One other thing it didn't want to start the other day but then finally fired up, but today it just clicks. Thinking may be starter from all oil that's covering it. Or the positive cable itself. Any input on either situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Get a can of engine degreaser and go at it. Once the block is clean and dry you should have an easy time pinpointing the source.

Just because new gaskets were put on 3 years ago doesn't mean they're not leaking now. The cheaper cork gaskets only last so long, and even good gaskets can leak if bolts loosen up or part of the gasket gets a crack or breaks.

If you whack the starter with a piece of wood or rubber hammer and it starts up, then it might just be the worn down starter brushes needing to be replaced.

Oil can get into the starter and cause contact issues as well, so you might want to remove the starter and clean it up, inside as well, especially once you have the leak fixed.

Well the non starting turned out to be the starter. I replaced the brushes and fixed it right up. About to go to the car wash and clean some the oil off and hopefully figure this leak out. Thanks
