oil change this weekend

Which oil should i use have got 160k on my 2000 ex I know 5w30 is recommended but I have also been told because of mileage I have also been recommended 10w40

If it does'nt use any oil stick with the 5w30. I've always used Halfords Ford 5w30 [fully synthetic] for the last 12 years and it never uses a drop. If you get one of their trade cards, you save about a third.

I did mine a few weeks ago at 118k miles, and yep I used 5W30 Fully Synthetic also. I used Mobil1 ESP (£45) and a K&N HP-3001 filter (£13) which I got delivered from Amazon next day. Done quite a few miles in it now and still runs great and hasn't used any up.
