I tried to search this, but could not find it. 2001 explorer sport. 4.0L V6. Mobil's site says an M1 210, but that's the smaller one. There's an M1 301, 302, and 303. Not sure what the difference is between those 3, but I was thinking the 301 was probably it considering a sport trac of the same year and engine size uses it and the fram i would use would be an 8A. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

The Baldwin Catalog calls out a B2 which is the same as the Mobil M1-301. If you go to a Napa Parts they can cross reference the Baldwin filters.

Thank you very much for the information. I'm gonna go for the m1 301. I'll verify the cross reference with the badlwins.

The M-210 is the same as the Motorcraft FL820S.

If you would normally use a Fram PH-8A, that would cross to an M1-301.

But you can easily verify the proper part using their application guide. http://www.showmetheparts.com/mobil/

That being said, their listing shows both the M1-301 and the M1-210 for your truck. I would suggest you consult your owner's manual for more info.
