Hi I have been trying to find a few leaks on my explorer and I think I have them found now. A lower intake gasket leaking both coolant and air. What I am wondering as I have never run in to this, can a bad lower intake gasket also leak oil into the cooling system?
The oil is a very small amount and is floating on the top of the coolant but there is no coolant in the oil as far as I can tell neither on the dip stick nor the tattle tell signs of moisture under the oil fill cap or the PVC valve.
I now also have a heater core leak but that is from the thing vibrating in its holder any one know the best way to stop that from happing or should I do a separate post on that?
Again my main question is can a bad lower intake gasket also leak oil into the cooling system?
Thanks for your opinions. Every one as there always worth it and helpful.
