Oil pressure Drop and rattling in engine??

there has been a rattle in my engine that gets faster as rpm's increase, then tonight I was driving around trying to figure out what was wrong with it and when i floored it going up a hill the oil pressure gauge droped to 0, but went back when I let off the gas....

Any suggestion where to start?????

is it bad to drive in the mean time? oil pressure is fine unless i floor it.

that doesn't sound very good. I wouldn't drive it if you can help it untill you figure out the problem. sorry I can't be of more help
